 Wow! An absolutely stunning and intense adventure! i believe this series is some of the best books I have ever read! After a harrowing plane crash, 5 lifelong young friends awake in a mysterious village in the mountains. With the elders convinced they're the foretold ones from legend, they set out to train them in unbelievable methods to unlock their minds. Villagers start getting fatally sick and trace the origins to a facility contaminating their water source with poison. The pollution stretches much deeper into the politics and sinister powers of the world, and the 5 friends must team up with the villagers to uncover the corruption. Masterfully written with an intense plot line, the details of places, people and emotions were flawlessly done! The characters were intricate with each their own unique personalities and emotions that led me to really connect with all of them. The wordbuilding with all the different layers of deep plots was masterfully woven with everything melding together perfectly and it flowed beautifully! With tons of mystery and intrigue, I was left sitting on the edge of my seat almost the entire time as this story gripped me and didn't let me go! I don't think I've ever read anything with this many different layers and intrigue that was held together so well the entire time - this story is masterfully woven!

The layers into society, politics and power reaches deeper than expected and are flawlessly thought out. The layers of the story are masterfully melded together with everything fitting together beautifully. You grow to really connect with the characters even more and truly feel like you really know them and their emotions, The adventure, action, mystery and intrigue are absolutely stunning and completely gripping. I couldn't help thinking the whole time that this series would make an award winning movie saga or series! Wow! These are seriously some of the best books that I have ever read and are appropriate for all ages, middle grade to 100! I can't wait to see what comes next in this series!
