Welcome to the Breast Cancer Awareness Giveaway Hop hosted by The Review Wire & Chatty Patty's Place!
I'm a huge supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness as it runs strong on my mom's side of the family and the majority of them have had it. My grandmother had it, 2 of my aunts had it- one passed away from it back in the 90s. And my mother also was diagnosed a few years ago, but with today's marvelous advancements in medicine, she was able to get treated quickly and pushed the cancer into remission! She is now 100% cancer free with a full recovery! However, she did get genetic testing done, and it is definitely genetic, so chances are I will most likely be diagnosed in the next few years myself - it's almost inevitable. But I have full faith in modern medicine that I'll be able to beat it as well! So let's show our support to spreading the awareness across the world and perhaps more women (and men) will be able to catch it early! For my stop on the hop, I'm giving away a $50 Paypal credit that you can use towards anything you desire!

Cancer is one of the worst things to watch a loved battle with. I've never felt so helpless in all my life. But never more inspired by the fight my grandma gave.

Yes.... my Mother's cousin had breast cancer and had a double Mastectomy. Also my cousins wife, and a very close family friend both had breast cancer. We also lost someone from our church who was very young. It is very important to get a yearly check up every year ♥

The tumour was not related to her breast cancer but was from an undiscovered melanoma on her scalp that miust have been there since her teens. My Grandmother and my Aunt both had breast cancer. They both recovered from it. I get a mammogram every year since they found a small cyst. I love that there is a month about Breast Cancer. It helps so many that don't think about it to get checked.

I know many women who have breast cancer as well as many who have beat it! They are amazingly strong women! Especially my godmother who is still fighting, but she has not left her job... she still works 40+ hours per week.

I haven't had any family members have it but I have had friends and their family members... two have passed away. One of my friends lost her daughter and my stepmom lost her best friend to the disease just within the past couple of years. I do have 2 friends that have survived it, thankfully. So much more work needs to be done to finding a cure.

My good friend was diagnosed with breast cancer 2 years ago but it was very early stage 1. She did the gene test and found she was a carrier of it and decided to remove hers to reduce the risk of it ever returning. She is cancer free and still doing surgeries to continue to create her twins the way she wants them!

My cousin had it and she really had great spirits, but could not battle it. I really do miss her!
