Halloween is my most favorite holiday of the year - I just love all the spookiness of everything and delight in the macabre sights! I also really enjoy the cooler weather - which it's FINALLY cooling off a tad down here in Texas - a bit late this year but the past few days we've only been in the 90s instead of 100+, so that's a great relief! It actually hit in the 60s early this morning and I had to dig around for my jacket as it was freezing! (Yeah, I know everybody up north are rolling their eyes about now lol) To celebrate the season of spookiness, I'm giving away a chilling $50 Amazon gift card so you can load up on some candy, decorations, scary accessories or even a horrifying book!

We like to give out candy boxes. The last few years we bought 50 or so treasure chest boxes then filled them with mini candy bars, suckers, gum, spider rings, rubber eyeball balls, etc. The kids go crazy over getting the boxes.

My favorite Halloween candy that I used to get as a child and also that I begged for from my younger kids Halloween sacks were Wonka Bottlecaps.
