I can't believe summer is coming to an end and school is fixing to start again! Time is flying by so fast! My oldest is going into the 5th grade this year and I'll be home alone again with my two lil ones - ages 2 and 3, so chaos will be free-reigning!!
It's time for the annual Oh The Places You'll Go - Back to School Giveaway Hop sponsored by The Kids Did It & The Mommy Island!

My favorite book of all time would have to be "The Giver". My daughter actually brought it home as a school assignment and I decided to start reading it. I was hooked!! I made her read it all the way through and we were able to sit and talk about it. This helped her with the class too.

I'm not able to have kids, but I have always been very generous to local schools whenever I find school supplies on sale. I love to read and read about 50 books a year, so picking a favorite book is hard. The best one I've read this year, though, is Tom Sawyer.

I have 4 kids 31,29,28 and a 14 year old starting 9th grade. I love mystery books but my favorite are the VC Andrews series. For fun we did Camelback in the Poconos, 6 flags, and Hershey Park this summer.

We have done a lot of fun stuff this summer. We have gone to the park and visited the splash pad. We got to visit my brother and his pool too.

This summer I went to a charity event put on by the Order of the Eastern Star of Oklahoma. We had a lot of fun and, this year, have raised over $26k for the Cystic Fibrosis foundation.
