I guess we're all pretty lucky for having made it this far through this very unlucky year! 2020 sure has been quite a year, yeesh! So far my 11 year old is doing great with his remote learning though a few things , like math, can be a bit tricky to get without an actual teacher explaining things - I'm having to step in and be teacher every now and then, even though math was never my strong suite. I was strong in English/Lit, Science and History/Social Studies and excelled with straight A's throughout my entire schooling with those and Math was my only weak spot. Once the devil decided to insert the alphabet into math, things just started getting confusing for me lol! But hey, I'm re-learning a lot of things again now! Though they expect kids to mathematically engineer a jet engine by the time they turn 12 it seems. ?

For me it was math and poetry, I was whipping around numbers and felt on top of the world in 6th grade and then life hit and their went that. So I fell in love with poetry, Writing poetry, songs and even plays, like the little mermaid, but I won't get into that.

Even though it came easily to me, I was never a big fan of Math. I actually found it quite boring. I much more enjoyed subjects like English Literature and History. I married an accountant and I have always told David that his being an accountant was one of the reasons I married him. Since I did not like Math, I found it tedious to reconcile my bank account every month. The first thing I did when we got married was to give all of the financial stuff to my new husband. Now, over 22 years later, David still takes care of paying the bills, budgeting and balancing our bank records. Thanks for the super giveaway opportunity.

I enjoyed English class; writing especially. My teacher liked my poetry so much, that he said I was the class "Poet Laurate", and asked me to bring in one of my poems everyday of class. That made me feel so good.
