Wow, it's been a heck of a year so far huh? Certainly hasn't been the year any of us ever anticipated and we are all faced with unexpected challenges and lifestyle changes. I can't believe it's September already and fixing to be Fall - yay! I just can't wait for cooler weather soon as it's just been sweltering down here in Texas, sheesh! I'm also looking forward to all the holidays, though it'll be a bit strange this year as I suppose there will be no large family feasts unless they come up with a vaccine soon, though that doesn't seem likely as there's been no word about them even coming close yet. I think in the end it'll be up to US to tamper it down - which means masks, social distancing and safety over all for quite a while to come! I'm biting my nails over schools reopening right now, though I'm keeping my oldest home and adding the role of teacher to my many other duties (child wrangler, executive head of household affairs, country chef, maid, and of course my own company here at Silver Dagger Book Tours!)I wear so many hats I need a hat-rack installed on top of my head lol! ​

I like Fall for the changing colors and cooler weather - but Winder is a great time for me to put on a hoodie and snuggle with a good book after working outside in the crisp cool air. Then there is Spring - when the daffodils start blooming all over my yard and I realize I need to enjoy my time outside as the humidity will be her soon. Summer is great, but I DON'T like the humidity!

I actually love Winter. I do not like the heat in the summer so I find the winter much more comfortable. No matter how cold or stormy it is outside, I can always curl up with a book in our sun porch and feel very comfortable as the sun is not as strong in the winter. I am also a big fan of winter sports such as hockey and figure skating.

I love all the seasons but fall is the best, it's the anticipation of the holidays, seeing my daughter back in school, plus all the pumpkin spice stuff hits the shelves again. Hooray!

I love summer because of the bright warm days, gardens bursting with fresh veggies and the chance to go camping and fishing. But autumn is a close second with the beautiful fall colors, the excitement of returning to school and of course football.

Autumn is my favorite season because living in the South, the cooler weather is much appreciated and needed. I love the changing leaves, the lovely pumpkin and Fall decorations, the flavors of the season- pumpkin, apple, muscadine, etc. It ushers in happy holidays to come, so I know when Fall is here, nothing but happiness to look forward to the rest of the year.
