I made memories this Thanksgiving as I spent the day with three of my sons and several of my grandchildren whom I haven't seen in quite some time. It was lovely to see them all even though there were several family members who didn't make the trip. I did get to see some of them through video chat. Family is everything!

She was staying with my mother because I was pregnant with a compromised immune system. The hospital was only allowing so many visi

Best moment for me was my daughter's 7th birthday party. We were incredibly lucky it fell between virus swells. Still to be careful I rented a giant tent canopy to protect from rain and had the party outside in the fresh air and only allowed her to invite 9 of her friends to be small. But since we had a canopy, we rented a pony and made it a circus theme. It was so magical for her.

My youngest granddaughter was my highlight of 2020. She was born right after midnight on the morning of January 1st.

One of my most memorable moments of 2020 was bringing home our newest family member, William, from the animal shelter. He's an 8 month old AmStaff and he is just the most amazing addition to our family.

The best thing to happen to me in 2020 is that I met the new man in my life. Otherwise the year sucked as I permanently lost my job due to Covid.

There have been many memorable moments, but sadly most of them were not great-- even before Covid. But one positive moment was seeing how much better my son did with schooling at home.

My son was married at the Church of Dirt near Salt Lake City and became a Bonus father to two wonderful boys and a husband to an amazing woman! We flew from NY to SLC in August despite the pandemic to witness this event.

On the personal side the year was pretty normal--I am generally pretty much a homebody, so the quarantine isn't a big deal for me, the family has stayed healthy, only one has become unemployed (largely because his line of work has dropped immensely, but he does have a line on a decent job now), and we have had the normal family activities, but without extra participants that might have been part of them before. So I guess the overall other memories will be of the state of the country--unrest, unemployment, governmental ineptitude.
