Diamond Moon
Black Hills Wolves #12
by Celia Breslin
Genre: Paranormal Romance

Picture
Human-wolf hybrid Darci Diamond spends every full moon locked in auntie’s basement in Southern Oregon. Her excruciating shifts terrify her, the last one causing her heart to stop beating. Seeking a cure, she journeys to Los Lobos.

Ross Luparell returns to the struggling Tao pack, using his millions made in the tech industry to build homes for pack families in need. He never imagined he would also find his one true mate. But when a hybrid with the biggest green eyes he’s ever seen lands on his doorstep in the middle of a wicked summer storm, there’s no denying it. She’s the one.

She wants a normal human life, free from pain-filled shifts. He won’t give up on her Wolf, and will do whatever it takes to help her accept her true nature. But can he convince her to trust him with her heart?

…he peppered her skin with slow, gentle kisses. He needed to take this slow. Mustn’t scare his mate.
When she reached out and stroked his hair, she made him the happiest man in all of Los Lobos.
Her breath left her in a sexy rush. “It’s as silky as it looks.” She bit her lip, her brow furrowing as if she hadn’t meant to say those words out loud.
He smiled. “Play away, Moonbeam.”
A shudder rolled through her. Her nipples pearled to tight buds visible through her shirt. No bra. His control broke. To hell with this.
He burst to his feet. “Don’t move, Moonbeam.”
He strode around the table. She watched him come, hands clutched against her breasts, eyes wide, cheeks flushed a pretty pink.
He shifted her chair so she faced him then knelt before her. His gaze met hers at this level, an intimacy he fucking loved. He gripped her wrists and moved her unresisting hands to rest on his shoulders.
Her fingers curled, nails scraping his skin through his T-shirt, sending jolts of lust to his groin. “Why do you call me that?”
He gripped her knees and inched them apart, pleased when she didn’t object. She felt it, too, he was sure of it, the need for closeness created by the call of their Wolf-mate bond. “Call you what?”
She slid her hands to his biceps. “Moonbeam.”
He pressed in close, closer. “Your skin. Pale as moonlight.” He glided his hands along her outer thighs, over her hips, to circle her waist.
“Oh.” She let out a delightful shudder and stared at him, her parted lips tempting him closer.
A growl escaped his throat. He closed the distance and kissed her.

Under a Mating Moon
Black Hills Wolves #27

Picture
British Alpha wolf Jake Marsden spends his days among humans, pursuing a lucrative music career and avoiding his pack's politics. When his current DJ tour takes him to the US, he stops in Los Lobos to visit family, and runs into the one Wolf he never wants to see again--the mate who rejected his claim.

While visiting her brother in Los Lobos, free-spirited Lexi Luparell is shocked to encounter the Wolf she'd denied when they were teens. Now she must face her guilt for the cruel way she spurned him all those years ago, make amends, and admit the truth. Jake was right all along--they're meant to mate.

Lexi would love to explore the mate concept and her overwhelming attraction to virile, Alpha Wolf Jake, but he wants nothing to do with her. How can she break down his defenses when she's the reason he built them in the first place?

Jake dates only human women now. Lexi had her shot at being his mate, and she threw it away. But when her life is threatened, he may have to rethink his position and do whatever it takes to claim his one true mate.

Wow, oh wow—J-Bird could kiss. Like melt her clothes clean off her body, kiss. Lexi moaned and parted her lips for Jake’s sexy, demanding mouth. He slipped his tongue inside, darting everywhere at once, exploring her so thoroughly her knees shook and she sagged in his iron embrace. God, his body was hard, nothing like the skinny kid from her memory. But his scent, that was the same. Musky man and smoky oak, like the white oak trees in the Hoosier National Forest where they used to hang when they were kids. Plus that sweet touch of maple. Delicious.

She let her tongue tangle with his, tasting the mint of his toothpaste mixed with the beer he’d obviously consumed before entering the house. Sparks of pleasure darted down her body all the way to her toes. Her boring ex, Dean, had never made her feel like this.

In fact, no one had ever kissed her like this, as if the zombie apocalypse had descended upon them and this was their last chance at happiness before doom struck them dead and ate their brains. Desperation, need, hunger, deep longing...it was all there in the way his hands clamped her tight to his torso, there in the way his mouth claimed hers, owning it.

She wound her arms around his neck, letting the pads of her fingers massage along the shaved hair at his nape…

Jasmine Moon
Black Hills Wolves #49

Picture
Tech mogul and workaholic wolf Evan Luparell has little time for distractions but takes a break for his brother’s wedding in South Dakota. When asked to escort another wedding attendee from the airport to Los Lobos, he agrees. Then he meets the curvy spitfire, and she ignores him.

Designer and wolf Mina Carver didn’t mean to be rude to the handsome, glowering man claiming to be her ride, but she was busy working. Now she must endure a ride to the Black Hills with the cranky but sexy dominant wolf. Unexpected mating energy sparks between them, but still—should she dismiss, or kiss him?

Kisses win and they agree upon a no-strings fling. But with each wedding activity throwing them together, and their powerful chemistry and mate compatibility complicating matters, can two workaholics truly have their fun then walk away?

Of all the insufferable, stubborn, cocky...she crossed her arms. “This is war.”

“Bring it, Short Stuff.”

Mina could almost feel steam exploding from her ears. Oh, no he didn’t call her that.

She slammed a lid on some irksome childhood memories and opened her mouth to really lay into him then clamped it shut. Anger wasn’t working. Time to switch gears.

She gave him one slow blink and licked her lower lip.

His gaze shot to her mouth.

She planted her hands on the arms of his chair and leaned in close, exposing a generous heap of cleavage in her V-neck sweater. “Oh I will, Tough Guy. Watch me.”

His nostrils flared as he scented her. He leaned forward a smidge, almost closing the distance between them, but she straightened, spun, and headed for the door, swishing her hips for all she was worth.

Chew on that, Mr. Rejection. Her inner wolf harrumphed in agreement.

A wave of dominant power smacked her in the back. Evan’s large hands snagged her by the waist, and he turned her to face him, pinning her against the door. His mouth took hers in a fierce kiss, frying her brain and boiling her blood. She growled and kissed him back with equal aggression. He lifted her higher against the door, and she wrapped her legs around his waist, squeezing hard. Damn, the things the man did to her. No one had ever made her feel so out of control, needy, and angry all at the same time.

She grabbed his head, broke off the kiss, and glared at him. “I still don’t like you.”

“Right back at ya, Red.”

“Good.” You sexy jerk.

“Fine.” He claimed her mouth again, swallowing any further words.

Jasmine Moon Character Interview: Evan & Mina
By Celia Breslin

Celia: Hi Everyone, thanks for visiting the tour! I’m here today with Evan and Mina from Jasmine Moon. I’ll let them introduce themselves…

Mina: Hi, I’m Jasmine, but everyone calls me Mina. Except for Mom. I’m forever a flower to her. *laughs*

Evan: Mina suits you. You’re fierce. Hi, I’m Evan, also known as the eldest Luparell sibling.

Celia: And you’re both workaholics. *They nod* Please describe yourself for our readers.

Mina: I’m a redhead. I’ve been told I’m a bit snarky like my pal Lexi.

Evan: You forgot to mention freckles. Love your freckles. As for me, I’m tall like the rest of my family, with short brown hair, and brown eyes.

Mina: Whiskey brown eyes, you doofus. So golden. And he’s gorgeous.

Evan: If you say so.

Celia: *grins* You’re a totally cute couple. Where are you from originally and where are you living now?

Mina: I’m from Southern California. Ventura. I’m in Los Lobos for the wedding. I designed the bride’s dress.

Evan: I was born and raised in Indiana. My work is there as well. I’m also in Los Lobos for the wedding.

Celia: It’s going to be a great time, I’m sure. Let’s play a short round of this or that. Breakfast: eat it or skip it?

Mina: Eat it. I love breakfast food. Especially donuts.

Evan: Eat it, but bacon, eggs, and sausage. Shifters need protein.

Celia: Beer or wine? Coffee or tea?

Evan: Whiskey. And coffee. Sometimes together. Midwest winters are brutal.

Mina: Yesssssss! Irish Coffee is the best on a snowy night in front of a fireplace.

Celia: Sounds lovely. Next up: Mountains or Beach? Snow or rain?

Evan: Mountains and snow.

Mina: Ha! Beach and rain, but I have to say the Black Hills are awesome could someday possibly feel like home…

Celia: Last this or that: Commitment or fling?

Mina: Ohhhhh, you went there. Well, I might have said fling, once upon a time, but then I met this guy. *points at Evan and winks*

Evan: Same. I thought I didn’t have time for a committed relationship, but then I ran into this spirited redhead at an airport…

Celia: We’ll leave it right there. Thanks to you both for chatting with us today, and thank
again, dear blog visitors, for checking out the tour for Diamond Moon, Under A Mating Moon, and Jasmine Moon!

It was indeed a fun, multi-author world to write in. All the books in the series are standalone reads, unique to the author who wrote them. The common points are: It's the same wolf pack (Black Hills Wolves), and Gee, the owner of "Gee's Bar" must make an appearance (anywhere we want) in our stories.

Beast and Beauty is written by the fabulous Brantwijn Serrah. I'm the editor for her series.
