Ahh the mythical "Pi Day" that is celebrated by intellectual enthusiasts worldwide is coming up on March 14th! 
​Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π (pi). Pi Day is observed on March 14 since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant digits of π. On Pi Day, pi enthusiasts wear clothing adorned with the pi symbol, eat pie, and even throw pi-related parties. The concept of pi is important to mathematics because of its relationship to the circle; it is a constant representing the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter.
Of course, in my mind, actual pie pops up and I start salivating thinking about my homemade pecan pies I make that are famous in my family. I make them completely from scratch - crust and all! And if we have a good pecan season, I have even gone and gathered my own pecans, shelled them and used them in pies - though that's a lot of extra hassle and of course we end up eating more than we end up with lol!
