It bothers me when for whatever reason, a cashier (e.g., at a grocery store or -- coughcoughWalgreenscoughcough) doesn't greet me in any way at the start of the transaction-- no "Hello," etc. It seems like there's a lot of customer service (retail) in my neighborhood that's just really, really... lazy. No eye contact, no "Do you have a rewards card?," and sometimes just leaving my items on the counter (next to my reusable bag...) at the end. I really have no idea. I try to be just calm and friendly, but whaaaaa....???! :-/

This is more than a pet peeve-- it REALLY bothers me.
I can't stand the phrase (or the hashtag!) "the struggle is real." ...For soooo many reasons. Even thinking about it right now raises my blood pressure.

You know, it's kinda weird, or silly: I was actually thinking about this earlier today-- about this question/prompt, and "pet peeves." It just sort of randomly occurred to me. And at that moment, when there happened to be SO MUCH going on (as there generally is), all I could really think was---
These pet peeves of mine, these little things people do that bother me... They're really not a Big Deal. I've been going through so much hell for a good handful of years now, and I've got SO much on my plate and on my mind. I suppose it's partly about perspective.
But if you want a "real answer," um... Cigarette butts on the sidewalk. How rude of them to just BE there like that. Sheesh, man! ;)

A pet peeve of my is bullying and teasing someone who has a disability or different then they are. I have NO tolerance for this.

It kind of bugs me when someone describes their favorite kind of music as "everything [or, 'anything'] but country."

I've got one. And I can be brassy enough to say it here, on a giveaway post. ;)
It irritates me when the instructions on a giveaway form are to "comment on this blog post," or something like that-- and a person comments with
"nice cover, thanks"
or
"I liked the excerpt, thanks for the chance".
...I just think, DQ DQ DQ!!!!

It can really irritate me if someone says "PIN number." This really annoys me the most when the... um, the offending party (LOL; sorry) is somebody who consistently/frequently works with credit/debit cards and such. ...And bank tellers! Oh, my goodness!

One of my biggest pet peeves is slow walkers! Ugh, I cannot stand being stuck behind someone in a store, or worse, at an amusement park, especially when they stop suddenly in the middle of the aisle/lane. Either keep walking or move to the side to let other people pass!

One of my biggest pet peeves is people who insist on slowly backing into a parking space when there's absolutely no reason they couldn't have just gone forward and pulled straight into it. It takes so long and I get so impatient!

I guess my biggest pet peeve now is our new neighbors. They just leave their kids outside and don't watch them. Mind you, some of them are as young as 3 and they do not listen. Asking the parents to watch their children was a major deal to the parents - they told me I must be a racist because I didn't want their son hitting my grandson with a stick or throwing dirt in his face. If you are going to have kids, raise them to be good people - don't just leave them outside and expect the neighbors to watch them for you!

My biggest and current pet peeve is when my boyfriend and I are watching a show or movie we have on dvr he fast forwards through parts he doesn;t want to see. Does he even realize I'm also watching

One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone asks if they have told you about so and so and you say yes. Then they proceed to tell you the entire story again anyway!
