What is something unique/quirky about you?
I’ve thought about this question and thought, well, I can roll my tongue, but other people can do that too so… not so unique. Then I went to my friends and asked them. There was one consensus on my quirky uniqueness – apparently, I’m goofy. Hey there words, not mine.

Tell us something really interesting that's happened to you!
I remember the night in which I was having such a great time at the Magic Castle in Malibu UNTIL an usher dragged me down from the crowd to sit next to the magician.

I am not a public speaker. I'm a writer. I don't want a crowd of eyes on me! I tend to babble when more than four pairs of eyes face my direction.
I lose my mind. All those people staring at me!

Well, I was so flustered that I babbled AT the audience. They were laughing at my oh so uncomfortable squirming and that just made me babble more. Then, this sexy AUSTRALIAN guy with his panty dropping accent sat in the magician's chair and blew my mind.

I was done. Cooked. Had no brain. Lower regions started taking over to the point where at the end of the show I completely botched his ending act by telling him he was suppose to pick my card the first time.

Seriously! How was I suppose to handle my Glossophobia AND the HOT AUSTRALIAN beside me? AND MY BOYFRIEND WAS IN THE AUDIENCE. Kill me. (He thought it was funny)

However! The hot magician took my picture and incorporated a magic trick within the whole process so I got this awesome Polaroid of one of the most embarrassing nights of my life.

What are some of your pet peeves?
At the moment, people under the age of 25. LOL. No. There’s a line in Dangerously Liasons I love. “I’m too old to deal with stupid.” I do everything I can to be aware, be polite and understanding that others have bad days, can’t cope with something or are generally unaware of themselves and others. I often do not receive the same curtesy. I watch people walk around without grace, without observing, it’s as if they are a ghost in the machine. Their bodies are a toy. My body is a toy to them. Ungh. My pet peeve? People who don’t think things through.

What are your top 10 favorite books/authors?
Oh! I love talking about my mentors. Okay here goes:
  1. Jim Butcher - Dresden Files
  2. Kim Harrison – Hallows Series
  3. Les Edgerton
  4. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
  5. The Girl with All the Gifts by M.R. Carey
  6. Kris Michaels
  7. Patricia A. Knight
  8. Marilyn Lakewood
  9. Elizabeth SaFleur
  10. Carolyn Jewel – My Immortals Series
  11. Megan Derr

What inspired you to write this book?
My inspirations come from other media. I watch a lot of anime and Pixar films because I find the storytelling in them is phenomenal. They inspire me. My imagination takes off. Behind every book is a movie or character I’m fascinated with, want more of them and made them my own.

What can we expect from you in the future?
I’ve got more stories in the Notice Me Senpai series. I have a dragon story that’s a work in progress, its working title is Pyromage. I’m working on a strange demon possessed story called Triad. I have other titles I work on that are strictly for my blog readers. The most current one is The King’s Thief.

Do you have any “side stories” about the characters?
I don’t have side stories, but you’ll sometimes see main character cameos in other books.

Where were you born/grew up at?
Born in Kentucky, but I was raised in the USA! I’ve gotten to live in New York, Florida, Virginia, California and soon…Texas!

If you knew you'd die tomorrow, how would you spend your last day?
I’ve thought about this question and the answer is, exactly the same as I always do. I’m with my guy and my family. A life shared is a life of worth.

Who is your hero and why?
In writing, it’s hands down Les Edgerton. He’s a guy whose life started out rough, like in jail rough, and pulled through and got his crap together. He became an author, writes, edits and teaches. I find him amazing.

What book do you think everyone should read?
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. It changed my life.

What kind of world ruler would you be?
I’d be horrible. I’d leave everyone the hell alone unless provoked. Politicians would be obsolete. My advisors would constantly disagree with me. I’d let REAL capitalism balance the market. I would let banks die…or any other company that can’t find a way to be useful to its customers. And any who messed with the US, there’s a saying… don’t mess with Texas. That saying would be amended. Don’t mess with the U.S. I believe in the ten to one scenario because it’s what I’ve learned works. You hit me, I hit you back ten times and with enough force to break my own hand. Yeah. It’s be a mess. I wouldn’t recommend me being ruler.
